Release notes

What changes for you.

Version, device, date — and what you notice while watching.

Newest first. We don’t describe how something is built here, only what you see of it: a picture that holds instead of going black, a channel that comes back, a line that tells you what happened.

  1. Apple

    Version 1.0.2

    in the next few days

    • Your provider hiccups? You won’t notice any more: dropped connections are bridged without a restart.
    • No more black screen on restarts — just a brief still image.
    • Neverlag sorts out trouble itself, step by step — and only steps in once the reserve is really empty: restart, switch to HD (with a button back), notice. No more switching away because of wrong readings.
    • One line tells you what it did — with a button in case you want it otherwise.
    • If a channel goes down at your provider, Neverlag takes the other route. More reserve on every device; sound and picture stay in sync.
    • Neverlag goes easy on your provider and only asks for what it needs. Clearer messages when something doesn’t work.
    • When you tune in, the whole reserve is kept — even on channels that start without a classic keyframe.
    • The reserve display is right again; a value stuck after a time jump at the provider is fixed.
    • If the server drops the connection, Neverlag reconnects at once; the reserve keeps playing meanwhile.
    • If your provider refuses (another device active, bandwidth capped), Neverlag says so plainly — instead of an error about the format.
    • If you have several lists, Neverlag fetches the same channel from another list when one refuses or doesn’t answer.
    • Channels delivered in pieces (such as “RAW” channels) play again.
    • Version 1.0.1 was skipped; its changes are included here.
  2. Apple
